Still on active duty? Service members within 180 to 90 days of separation can file a presumptive claim under Benefits Delivery at Discharge (BDD). Filing pre-separation can produce a rating decision within 30 days of discharge. The Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry enrollment on the SHA Part A Self-Assessment also creates a documented record of toxic exposure that supports future PACT Act claims.
