VA Disability Rating for Hemorrhoids, external or internal (DC 7336)
Hemorrhoids are swollen blood vessels in and around your rectum and anus that can cause pain, bleeding, and discomfort. The VA rates hemorrhoids at 10% or 20% based on how severe your symptoms are and how often you have flare-ups. A 20% rating requires either persistent bleeding that causes anemia (low blood count) or internal hemorrhoids that stay pushed out with frequent blood clots, while 10% covers less severe but still problematic cases.
